Altair-1 provides a configurable 6U satellite platform for customer instruments, sensors and technology demonstrators. The service can include payload assessment, integration, launch-readiness support, mission operations and secure payload-data delivery for up to three years.

Current Mission Baseline
Indicative configuration for payload accommodation on the Altair-1 6U platform. Final specifications are subject to payload assessment, licensing, system design and launch-provider confirmation.
Up to 3U
Customer instruments, sensors and technology demonstrators can be accommodated within the Altair-1 6U platform. Final payload volume, mass and interfaces will be confirmed during mission assessment.
≈15 W
Baseline payload power of up to approximately 15 W during sunlit operations. Peak power of up to approximately 30 W may be supported for limited duty cycles, subject to electrical, battery and thermal analysis.
UHF + S/X
UHF telemetry, tracking and command, with optional S-band or X-band payload-data downlink through compatible ground-station networks.
Mission Support
Support for frequency coordination, payload-safety documentation, national licensing, launch-interface compliance and mission-assurance activities. Final approvals remain subject to the relevant authorities.
Secure Access
Secure payload-data transfer, controlled cloud storage, cataloguing and role-based access. API or webhook integration may be configured according to mission requirements.
H2 2028
Target rideshare deployment into a Sun-synchronous orbit near 550 km. Payload integration is expected to begin approximately 8 to 12 months before launch, followed by qualification and mission-readiness activities.
Indicative baseline: Payload accommodation, power allocation, communications, orbit and schedule may change following detailed mission analysis, regulatory review, launch integration and final system design.
Technical Baseline
Preliminary allocations for the hosted-payload area on the Altair-1 6U bus. Final values will be confirmed through the Interface Control Document and joint engineering analysis.
The CubeSat form factor does not itself define payload power, communications performance or launch schedule. Final values depend on the spacecraft, payload, orbit and launch configuration.
